Bert’s BBQ since 1970 We opened our business in Oct 70 (Bert, Joyce, Gary, Jay and Sheryl) and have been serving the good people of Austin and surrounding areas ever since Bert’s 2 sons now operate the business (Gary and Jay). We are now operating out of our Far West (Far West and Woodhollow) store in northwest Austin. We had a fire at our original location in Jan 07 (MLK and Rio Grande).
